It's winter here, the breeze is cold, but luckily the sun is hot. My 9-month-old friends Jobim and Scott joined me and we all had a great time in a swimming pool.

A cold, but sunny weekend

We have had the coldest days ever! So, what could be better than going to the park, meeting new friends, taking a sunbath, running off leash...? Btw, I met 6 goldens there yesterday! It's a record number in this park!

Golden Meeting at CMVLINS - São Paulo

Last Sunday I went to a Golden Retriever meeting at CMVLINS in São Paulo capital.

It was a sunny day, purrfect for a swimming pool!

Can you believe this 11-month-old boy is my nephew? Max's HUGE!

There was also a seminar about GRs. Interesting, for the humans, of course!

Oh, boy! Actually, 4 golden BOYS! Mom said it was interesting to see the dominance thing among us. There were some #@^& moments, but Dad captured only one. Mom and Dad think 31-month-old Huck is the most dominant, the 2nd is his 8-month-old brother Johnny, the 3rd is my little 5-month-old friend Jobim and I am the less dominant. Maybe it's because I am the only one who is neutered in this group?

I'd like to introduce my new friend JOBIM. He's a 5-month-old little golden boy. He lives next to a park, so hopefully and happily we are going to have many, many fun meetings from now on.

Kimba - Back to a park - 25 months old

I'm back to a park after 6 months. Wow, time flies! I made two new puppy friends: MINO, a 9 mo black kind of Bull Terrier, and MARLEY, a 4 mo Golden.

Mom said I was an adorable puppy too.

A playdate with Laika

Laika is an 1-year-old golden girl. A lady, who lives in this house, said that Laika's living there temporarily until her real owners, who are living in an apartment, find a good house for them to live together.

When we pass in front of the lady's house, we always stop by at least to say hello to Laika. She gets really happy! And if the lady sees us, she even invites me to go in and play with Laika.

We hope Laika can live together with her real owners very soon. Good luck, dear friend Laika.

Good memories of my 1st Birthday!

Last year, when I turned 1 year old, I didn't have a blog yet. So, in short words, let me tell you how fun it was.

• I had a special party with a rice cake, balloons and many cool toys as presents. Yupi!

• We, for the 1st time since I left there, visited the kennel where I was born. I could meet one of my sis and some relatives. Mom was not there. BUA!

• I got a special B'day present from my cousins Augie and Ti. They never forget me! I love them!

My 1st B'day was really fun! Don't you think? Soon Mom'll be posting about my 2nd B'day!

My last meeting with Luna

Last September, I went on a playdate with Zaki, Huck and Luna. Actually I didn't know it was going to be my last meeting with Luna. She died a few days later at 6 months old. Nobody knows exactly what happened. Her Mom said it could be something Luna ate, or she was stung by an insect, or it was something related to her heart... Luna was taken to the vet asap and was expected to be fine the next day. When her Mom woke up and went to see her, she was already dead. Luna's family was totally devastated. Such an unexpected tragedy! Such a cute young girl!

Three Musketeers and Two Princesses

Last Sunday we had a playdate of 5 golden friends: 5-month-old Luna, 23-month-old Huck, 21-month-old Zaki, a new friend Lana and I. Yupppi, our Golden Club is growing!

I first met Thom when I was about 6 months old. WOW, more than a year! Sometimes I come across him in the streets during our walks, but we never had a playdate. His Dad says that Tom doesn't like male doggies, but me. Hehehe. So, who knows one day we'll have a playdate. Last week, we came across him again. Oh, I wish I were off leash so that we could have played a bit. Humpfft!
